Knock School Camping

Farewell to Dad after 45 years at Knock School

My Grandparents opened the Caravan Park at Knock in the late 60’s and 2020/2021 has been the only years we haven’t been open, partly due to Covid, but mainly due to Dad’s health.

Unfortunately, Dad passed away from Cancer last year and we would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kind words that we received when we said we weren’t open.

Dad enjoyed spending his evenings and weekends meeting all our guests over the years, many of whom have become life long family friends; and he will be greatly missed by all.

2022 is a new year, a different year for us; Mum is looking forward to opening the Caravan Park & Cottage from April and my brother & I will be there to “tidy up” beforehand to maintain the standards that Dad has kept for the last 45 years – hard shoes to fill.

I know that Dad would have hoped for a brighter 2022 welcoming friends old & new to Knock; so Mum can enjoy the company that makes Knock home, for us.
